What are the uses of Ammonium Chloride?
For Metals, It is commonly used as a part of galvanizing, tinning and soldering fluxes to remove metal oxide coatings and thus improve solders ‘adhesion. It cleans the surface of metals by reacting with metal oxides. It is also used as glue to attached two plywood and additives to textile dyeing and leather tanning. Furthermore, it can be used as an electrolyte for the production of dry-cell batteries and ingredients for fireworks/pyrotechnics and as a curing agent in formaldehyde-based adhesives.
